Widgets are embeddable code that allows you to display your most recent 4 and 5-star reviews on your business’ website. All you need to do is copy and paste the code we provide in the appropriate place on your website.
To get to your Widgets, look in the Showcasing section of your navigation menu:
On the Widgets page, the right panel of the screen will display a widget preview. You can update the settings in the left panel and see them previewed on the page:
There are 4 sections of widget settings: Filters, Design, Elements, and Privacy.
Filters
Filter by ratings: Only display reviews with certain star ratings in your widgets. *defaults to 4 and 5 star reviews only
Filter by Review Sites: Only display reviews from certain review sites. *defaults to include reviews from all review sites connected to your account
Show reviews with associated review text: When checked, only includes reviews in widgets if they contain text (so, reviews that are only a star rating with no accompanying text content are not included).
Design
Background Color: Customize the background color of the widget.
Type of view: Choose between a Stacked layout (stacks reviews one on top of another in a table) or Carousel layout (displays one review at a time and scrolls like an image slider).
Total reviews: How many of the most recent reviews you want to display in your widget.
Reviews per page: How many of the total reviews to display on each page. *Applies to Stacked view only
Elements
Show overall rating: Displays an element on top of the widget containing average star rating and total number of reviews
Show Leave a Review button: Displays a button on top of the widget that links to the review landing page
Privacy
Check this box to only display the reviewer's first name and last initial. Otherwise, the reviewer's full name will be displayed.
Embedding your Review Widget
Once you have customized your widget to your liking using the settings, click the View Embed Code button to expand the embed code:
You can then click to copy the embed code. You will paste this as an html block into your website.
